We’re not in Charleston anymore, Dorothy

It’s not twisters that plague the Low Country, but hurricanes. And according to National Geographic, the forecasters at Colorado State University say the 2008 hurricane season is going to be “well above average.” CSU researchers predict “15 named tropical storms gathering between June 1 and November 30.”

It’s safe to say during these few months of the year, I’m happy to not be living by the sea.

Here’s hoping CSU is off in their predictions again this year.

Enjoy your temperate summer in CO while we bake back in Charleston.

Oh, and there better not be a Hurricane Mark this year. :)

Have your say
