I grew up there. I love the city, it’s history, and it’s beloved sports teams. I hate the winters, the traffic, and the Herald. I always read the Boston Globe during my days in Boston, but never ever liked Dan Shaughnessy. And he writes a whopper in today’s Globe about tonight’s upcoming Game 6 of the NBA Finals.
Give the Lakers credit. They could have rolled over like dogs. They could have folded their designer tents, lost Game 5 at home, and spared themselves a cross-country trip. Instead, they stood tall in their own building, and their reward is the ultimate beat-down they’ll suffer in the New Garden tonight.
It’s a sure thing.
Like the Patriots in Super Bowl XLII.
